New UI is coming soon

Just to keep you informed we are currently working on refreshed user interface for our service and some new features for the deploy. We plan to put it live in the first half of May.

Thank you for your testimonials.

We need your testimonials!

We get a lot positive comments on our support mail box, which we appreciate very much. We would like to get from you some more official feedback as well. Please send us what you think about our service with your or company name. We will put it on our website. You can also send us your logo.

For you information: we just did 50 000 deploys for you, which makes us very proud.

Thank you!

Dev log #7: Diff views

Today we performed an upgrade, that was quite a long time in development.

What’s new:
* diff views (day, change set, compare of days and revisions),
* source browser is now not a beta anymore,
* many small improvements here and there.

Also we have a small present for our dear members.

Happy New Year!

We would like to let you know that we are finishing a new view for our Log tab. We believe that we will be able to put it live next week. It’s about diffs.
And yes, we are alive and kicking!

A requested update ;)

Its been almost 3 months since the last update on the springloops.com from our beloved devs – is it time to be worried?

You got a great application – nice funtionallity, good design and great pricing – i hope you still find it possible to continue the development.

Please inform your fans (thats me, and prolly most of your customers – or customers to be…) bout your progress (or lack thereof) as the silence is alot more worring than any possible concering news whatever that might be.

Keep up the good work and i hope u are still on the green.

Hi Anders!

Thank you for your concern!
In a few days we will roll out first new module – one of three that are almost done – repository browser. After that (about two weeks) we will roll out second one – changes tracker. Third one is a total surprise.

We tried – and I hope we did it with success - to reinvent everything, so it took quite long. In first two modules we used different approaches and we put some unique features there. The third one is 100% unique thing (like Deploy) and is about collaboration (but it’s not related anyway to project collaboration).

Best regards,
Szymon

Dev log #6: Springloops 2.0

How you handle branching and tagging?

We left branching and tagging for later releases. Now you can handle tagging and branching how you want to, as you have full access to your Subversion server on Springloops.

We have very nice ideas how the branching and tagging should be done, stay tuned!

Can I schedule a deploy?

There is no scheduling. However you can turn auto update on – it will automatically upload new changes on every commit (only changed and newly added files will be uploaded).

Do you backup the repository? Is there a disaster recovery procedure?

Yes, backups go to two separate locations. Also servers are equipped with SAS mirrored drivers.

Dev log #5: We launched it!

We are happy to inform you that with today’s Springloops update we closed beta phase. This means that your Springloops trial starts today.
Now you can upgrade your account to any plan you would like to.

With this update we also introduced new features:

  • On site Basecamp tasks review
  • Textile support in the Log (easy text formatting syntax for humans)
  • Information about available space in Options tab
  • Messaging log to Basecamp (with option for notifying people from your company)

And many small improvements that you can notice during daily work with Springloops.

Once again we thank you for your great support during beta phase. We received a lot of effort from our users to make Springloops shine in every situation. Thank you!
